From my childhood passion for fishing to now sharing the joy with my 5-year-old, Rainbow Trout Farms in Sandy has become our ultimate fishing sanctuary. As a parent who understands the joy of fishing but also the hassle of cleaning, this place has exceeded our expectations.
The diverse ponds, each specific to fish size, allow us to curate the perfect fishing adventure. Our family loves casting our lines in the larger pond, aiming for those truly impressive catches. The transparent pricing structure ensures that we can choose the pond that best suits our preferences.
The best part... No more worrying about cleaning the fish – it's a game-changer. The staff takes care of the dirty work, leaving us with a catch that's ready to be cooked as soon as we get home, saving us precious time and effort. No need to bring your own pole, bait, net, or bucket – they've got you covered. And if you happen to break the line, they'll provide you with a new pole.
My kids eagerly anticipate our visits, and it has evolved into cherished family memories. Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner, Rainbow Trout Farms delivers an exceptional fishing experience for everyone. Highly recommended for stress-free, family-friendly fishing!
Beautiful spot to form some lasting memories with your children. Tucked away on Mt hood is this lovely, peaceful place to find some peace and serenity. It's really special.
What a great time I had with my grandson and daughter and son-in-law. Everyone working there was just great. The place is very clean and well taken care. The fish we caught were very healthy. Definitely going again..
If I right a review you must know it’s good, I am a very judgmental and OCD type of person and I don’t miss any detail and this place made sure everything was on point. The facilities where great and cater to any type of family size, the venue is well looked after and the scenery is just so beautiful and peaceful, and the most important part is do you catch fish? and the answer is of course you do and they have nice sizes too. They can take my money anytime.
Absolutely love this farm! I made many memories here as a child and now I'm taking my son here to catch fish. They have multiple sizes of fish in different ponds. The bigger ones are more difficult to catch but the medium sized fish bite on the first cast.
Our fishing oasis ✨Love it because you know the fish are well cared for, worm free, etc. We stay away from the big fish pond and only fish in the smaller ponds. It gets pricey plus we eat our fish so how much fish can you really eat. I limit 2 or 3 fish per person. They clean them n cut the heads off, pack them on ice for us before we leave. I cook them all as soon as I get home and freeze em. Trout is so moist, good eating!! Nice family business 👍👍
A lovely spot to learn how to catch, unhook, and gut trout. The ponds are clean and surrounded by elder firs and cedars. Employees are helpful and gave us some great tips on releasing hooks from deep within the fish’s mouths. We thanked the trout for their lives and cooked them later in parchment with dill, shallots, wine and butter.
We has So much fun! This is such a great place with amazing staff! I'm definitely going back on a regular basis because it was so much better than I hoped! The facility offers 6 different fishing ponds that hold differing sized trout, they set up with everything you need to fish and you only pay for the fish you catch! Plus they have outdoor spaces that are available to rent.
